A few km from Mahón, we find among cala Presili and cala Morella Nou this magnificent cove. It is about 200 m long, is sandy, with very good water for swimming and enjoying a great day at the beach.
Over the time it has been formed naturally in the rear area of the lugara, sand dunes, whose function is to protect the Lagoon of Morella, situated behind the beach, which generally live turtles, a curiosity that gives the name to the cove.
You can get to Cala Tortuga by the way from the road Favaritx connecting before you reach the view of the lighthouse.
Recommendations: comfortable Shoes in addition to the flip-flops to the beach, because if you feel like visiting other nearby creek as Cala Morella Nou or Cala Presiliyou'll have to travel a rocky road for a while. In addition we recommend carrying umbrella and water, due to this creek as the two neighbors are pristine beaches with no services and we have to be equipped to do this.
We hope will enjoy it!
